FAQ
- How do I password-protect a PDF?
- Import the PDF, type the password twice, tick “Confirm password”, then run protection. Download starts automatically when encryption finishes.
- Is my PDF encrypted on your servers?
- No. Everything runs locally in the browser using a PDF library that supports standard document encryption.
- What encryption level is used?
- PDF standard security (typically described as AES-128 or AES-256 depending on the PDF version). Flownect never stores your password.
- How do I open a protected PDF?
- In any recent PDF viewer: enter the user password when prompted. Without it, the document cannot be read.
