VideoReady — Validate video creatives for programmatic & CTV
Check your MP4/MOV against SSP specs: resolution, 16:9, bitrate, H.264, loudness (LUFS), frame rate — dedicated CTV / REAS, TF1 Pub & M6 audit profiles.
Instant metadata check in your browser. Full analysis (codec, bitrate, loudness) and export: processed server-side via FFmpeg — your file is deleted immediately after.
Pick an SSP preset or CTV / REAS, drop your video, review the compliance checklist, then export an optimized MP4 if needed.
CTV / REAS & TF1 Pub — SSP audit requirements
- Container: MP4 (H.264 + AAC)
- Minimum resolution: 1280×720 px
- Aspect ratio: 16:9

- Audio loudness: -23 LUFS (EBU R128)
- Progressive scan (no interlaced)
- No third-party data collection pixels in the file
- Typical duration: 6–60 s for linear CTV spots
- TF1 Pub applies these same REAS specs in its SSP audit module

General recommendations (VAST & MediaFiles)
- VAST : 2.0 (recommended) · 3.0 · 4.0 — blocking mode not supported
- Supported MediaFiles : MP4 (video/mp4) · VPAID JavaScript (Desktop & WebMobile only)
- Not supported : Flash video (.flv) · VPAID Flash · VPAID x-javascript
VideoReady validates the file (codec, resolution, bitrate, loudness, weight). VAST tag structure, wrappers and MediaFiles must be configured in your ad server.
Adjust compliance thresholds: min resolution, bitrate, duration and target LUFS.

File overview
Delivery check
Optimized export
Re-encode to H.264 + AAC MP4 with loudness normalization and minimum resolution for the active profile.
Precise validation
9 checks per profile: container, codec, resolution, aspect ratio, bitrate, FPS, loudness, file size, tracking pixels.
Server-side analysis
FFmpeg probes codec, bitrate and LUFS server-side — much faster and more accurate than any browser tool.
CTV / REAS optimized export
Re-encode to H.264 + AAC + EBU R128 loudnorm in one click. File deleted from our servers immediately after.
How it works
Three steps to a compliant creative.
Pick your SSP profile (CTV / REAS, TF1 Pub, M6, IAB, Google, Meta, TikTok, Magnite or custom).
Drop your video — metadata appears instantly, then full server analysis runs (codec, bitrate, LUFS).
Review the compliance checklist. Export an optimized MP4 if needed — file deleted after download.
FAQ
Frequently asked questions
What is VideoReady? +
VideoReady is a free SSP compliance validator for video ad creatives. It checks resolution, codec, bitrate, loudness (LUFS) and more — with dedicated profiles for CTV / REAS, TF1 Pub, M6, IAB, Google DV360, Meta, TikTok and Magnite.
Is my video uploaded to your servers? +
The initial metadata check (resolution, duration) is instant in your browser — no upload. The full analysis (codec, bitrate, LUFS) and export are processed server-side via FFmpeg. Your file is deleted immediately after processing.
What does the CTV REAS audit check? +
MP4 container, H.264 video codec, AAC audio codec, minimum 1280×720 px resolution, 16:9 aspect ratio, minimum 1800 kb/s bitrate, -23 LUFS loudness (EBU R128), progressive scan, and absence of third-party tracking pixels in the file bytes.
What is LUFS and why does it matter for CTV? +
LUFS (Loudness Units relative to Full Scale) measures perceived audio volume. CTV platforms require -23 LUFS (EBU R128) to ensure consistent volume across all ads. A deviation of more than 1 dB can cause rejection by the SSP audit module.
Can I export directly from VideoReady? +
Yes — the export re-encodes your video to H.264 + AAC MP4 with EBU R128 loudness normalization and the minimum resolution required by the active profile. Processing happens server-side via FFmpeg.
